should i upgrade my pc in any way?

I have been playing Dayz recently and I have been encountering some crashes (pc shutsdown but I can turn it back on immediately) i was wondering if it is my specs that might be the problem if you have any ideas on what else could cause the crash any help would be much appreciated
Specs:
GPU: Geforce GTX 650 TI
CPU: AMD FX 6300 six core processor
Memory: 8GB ram
PSU: 650

Upgrade the gpu to R9 380 or R7 370, if you can. Rest is ok.

Without figuring out the problem we don't know what is to change. What are the cpu & gpu temps just before the shutdown? Is the shutdown like a complete loss of power? What is the exact make and model of PSU?

hi my mother board is a M5A78L-M LE
and my PSU is 650W ACE Blk PSU 12cm Red Fan
the shutdown immediately stops the computer from running
and how do i find the gpu and cpu temps before the shutdown?

its really odd it only shuts down playing modded content since im now playing arma 3 and it does the exact same if i play a standard team death match server then it runs perfectly fine without flaw but when i play modded games it can sometimes shutdown 10-20 seconds into the game or up to / past 1 hour

i didnt say before but my cpu temperature i think is super high resting just on desktop on google and steam it goes from 50 to 60 degrees but in a gmae its like 80-87 degrees C

87 degree is not dangerous enough to cause a shutdown, but it is still not good. Maybe you should get a CPU cooler.
