Question Should I upgrade my PC or build a new one?

My current PC can handle most of the games, but now with the releases of games like RDR 2 and soon Cyberpunk 2077 it seems like I wouldn't be able to run those games with my GPU. I know for a fact that I need to upgrade my SSD cause it is FULL, only like 100 MBs left, but I don't know if it is worth buying a new GPU or and sell my old one or just build a new one. I'd also like to be able to play VR games in the future and I know that my PC overall could handle it, just not with my GPU.
My current build is:
CPU
- Intel Core i5-3550 @ 3.30 GHz
GPU - GeForce GTX 1050 2GB
RAM - 12 GB DDR3
SSD - 60 GB
2 Harddrives - 500 GB & 1 TB
I'm open for recommendations, but I have a REALLY tight budget though.

Welcome to the forums!

You forgot to include the make and model of your PSU and it's age but from the looks of it, I think you're better of starting fresh with a build. You can't salvage the SSD since it'll be too small for today's OS/app's/games to go onto one drive. You can however salvage the HDD's for your game library.

You should follow the stylizing of this thread and update your thread with the necessary information in order for us to suggest a build.
