Question Should I upgrade my PC ?

Hello guys, as the title says I’m wondering if I should upgrade something in my pc. I’m questioning my pc because in recent games such as hogwarts legacy, cod mw2 and others I’m facing low fps (with everything set to low or with fps settings) and stuttering, and the feel unplayable. My current pc components are:

-GPU: 1660 Super Pegasus
-CPU: i7-6700k
-RAM: Vegeance 16gb (8+8)
-MOBO: Asus h170 pro gaming

knowing this, should I upgrade something? Or is there something that I can do to fix di big issues?

Your PC is a bit dated. What RAM speed to have have, what's the make and model of your psu, how old is it and what is your budget and what country are you located?

I have a Corsair 800w psu, bought back in 2018. My ram is ddr4, dual channel. Looking at cpu-z i can see that my dram frequency is 1064 and the uncore frequency is 3990. I'm in italy, and i've a budget of around 500 Euros. If you need anything else just let me know.

Thank you for the fast and complete reply man!! With this upgrades do you think I will fix my stuttering and fps issues? Also, is there difference which one of the two options you gave me for the ram I choose? And what gpu you think i should get later on?

The gpu needs to be upgraded for sure. I'd wait to see the reviews of the RTX 4060 (MSRP $400) when it's released in April or for a less expensive gpu look at the RX 6600.

That's the CPU causing that, can I ask what frame rate you are playing at?
