[SOLVED] Should i upgrade my psu?

Hi! I bought today a Sapphire radeon rx 550 pulse 4gb vram,on the box it says you should have a 400w psu or better,i have insert it to the pci-e slot,i plugged the hdmi and it doens't show anything. And so weirdly (i have rgb keyboard and mouse) my keyboard light up but my mouse didn't. So i started thinking if i should upgrade the psu from 500w that i have now to 600-650-700w one.

P.s. If i unplug the card from the pci-e slot and open on intel hd graphics (integrated one) it opens and shows all (i aleardy disabled the integrated card)

i5-2400 3.1 ghz
4 gb ram ddr 3

Can you show a pic of the label on the PSU?

The card really only draws around 50w, so a 400w really shouldn't even be needed.

Is this card new? HDMI plugged into GPU not mobo?

Yes it's new i bought it like yesterday
And yes the hdmi was plugged into gpu

That PSU has essentially 150w on the 12v rail, so it is definitely not a 500w, and not even a 250w.

You need a replacement.

Even a basic EVGA W1 500w would be alright for a i5 2400 and RX550. Although i would concider a better psu if you plan on upgrading in the future.
