Question Should I upgrade my ram with another 2x4gb kit or replace it with a 4x4gb kit?

I have a Gigabyte B450M DS3H motherboard and currently have a Patriot Viper 2x4gb DDR4 3000MHz ram kit.

Ideally replace to avoid potential issues.

If your upgrading i would go with a 2x8GB kit, it will put less stress on the memory controller then 4 sticks.
