Question Should I upgrade my RAM?

Specs:
GPU: RX 570 4gb
CPU: AMD Athlon x4 870K
HDD: 500gb
SSD: no SSD installed
RAM: 8gb DDR3 Single Channel

Just wanted to know if its a good idea to upgrade RAM to 16gb Dual Channel or its just pointless and I wont get any major FPS boost.

To be brutally honest, and I am not trying to be a jerk, 8 more gb ram is not going to make much of a difference with that set up.

Hmm.. Dual channel made the difference for me, but I am running a much more recent setup. In my opinion, better save up some more and upgrade the CPU. Sell this one and get some bucks out of it, save up some more and orient yourself towards a more recent setup. If money is a problem, keep the DDR3 RAM.

Also, if you want to convince yourself, get a stick of RAM to make it dual channel and return it to the seller if there is no major difference.
