Question Should I Upgrade my whole [CPU?] system?

I am planning to upgrade my system to a new gtx 2060 gaming rig

My current rig..
Amd phenom ii x4 955
Gtx 560 ti
8 gigs of corsair ram 1600mhz DDR3
Cooler Master 650W psu
LG 23 inch monitor

Is their any component which i can use in my new rig, or i have to upgrade the whole cpu system?

You can keep your monitor.
Rest of it will need to be changed - gpu, cpu, ram, motherboard. Psu most likely also.

You have hit the age of - it won't get better than you have now, unless you spend the money.

I think you mean RTX2060. It will run fine on a 650w psu.

Newer high end parts will want decent cooling.

No doubt. you are looking at latest gen intel or ryzen along with motherboard and DDR4 ram.

Your case was a good one in it's time.
But, with only a single 140mm front intake fan, it will be a bit limiting if you start to use high end graphics cards and processors.
Still, it is ok for a RTX2060 and your current cpu.

Your cpu is likely a limiting factor and will continue to be so.
Try this test:
Run YOUR games, but lower your resolution and eye candy.
If your FPS increases, it indicates that your cpu is strong enough to drive a better graphics configuration.
If your FPS stays the same, you are likely more cpu limited.

Ok thanks, So finally I am planning to keep the following components from my old rig that are :-

Monitor - 23 inches 1920X1080 60hz
PSU - cooler master 650W
CASE - cooler master cm 690 II advanced
HDD - seagate 500gb 5400rpm

and buy following items:

CPU - ryzen 2600
GPU - rtx 2060
HEATSINK - cooler master hyper 212 evo
SSD - Samsung 970 Evo Series - 250GB
MOBO - gigabyte b450m ds3h

oh yeah, sorry I forgot about the Ram, so if i install 8 gigs of ddr4 - 3200, should i be able to play all AAA titles on ultra on a 1080p with 60hz monitor for at least 2 years?

16GB is the recommended config for a gaming system.
8GB is just not enough for latest games.
