Basically I just ordered a 390x and 240gb ssd and I'm a bit "concerned" whether or not I should upgrade my motherboard as well considering how old it is. I currently have a gigabyte GA-Z68AP-D3 (rev 2.0) which can be found here: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4015#ov
I know the socket 1155 range/generation is a little outdated and limited but my i7 3770k still runs exceptionally well. The only available upgrade I've managed to research is a z77 which I would honestly invest into but for the price of it (£150/200) is it really worth it and going to give me that extra performance/reliability compared to my current z68?
Would really appreciate the advice on what to do here
Regards
Jake
