[SOLVED] Should I upgrade now or wait?

I'm currently at a point where i can afford to upgrade my pc. However I'm not to sure whether to do it now or wait.

My Specs:

CPU: i7 3770 (non k)
GPU: GTX 970
Motherborad: Biostar b75mu3b
Case: Corsair 350D
Monitor: Dell s2417dg - 1440p 144hz

I want to upgrade it so I can utilise the 1440p 144hz monitor. Ideally I'd upgrade to an rtx 2070 and ryzen 5 2600x. Which also means I'd need to upgrade my motherboard and case at the same time.

A 2070 would likely bottleneck your cpu. Wait until July for when ryzen 3000 comes out, supposedly 6 cores and 4.3 GHz for only $100 USD is what I’m doing,
