Should I upgrade the PSU for 2080/2080Ti?

Alright, so my current PSU is a Corsair TX 650 80plus bronze, my system specs are:

4770k running 4.4ghz with 1.24v
500GB HDD
1TB samsung 850 pro SSD
MSI Z87 G45 Mobo
2x8GB DDR3 rated 1.65v
MSI GTX 980
H110I GT Watercooler

The case has 3x 140mm fans,

No plans in changing CPU or adding anything else, and as the title says, is this PSU along this setup fine for a 2080Ti? I heard some older corsair PSU's caused some further problems if they failed, mine is running for a couple of years now with no issue whatsoever, or none that i know... I'd prefer not to have the extra cost with PSU, if there's any reasons to not keep using it.

It has the necessary power to run a larger GPU. Might be a little louder though with a 2080Ti.

TDP of a 980 is around 165, TDP of a 2080/ti is 215w/260w. Recommended PSU is 650w so in that sense you are still fine.

I don't see a problem with you using that power supply with a new GPU even if it is a few years old.

I see! that would be no problem whatsoever since i live in a kinda hot place, so a loud fan at full blast have to be beside me to keep me from fainting... that being said, it can go as loud as it may want so long i'm not risking my possible future RTX
