Should I upgrade this laptop?

I have an ASUS X200m, It was dropped and the hard drive was broken. I;m getting a new one, but I want some opinions.

Should I get an ssd? Should I upgrade the RAM? It already has 4gb.

Would it be a waste to try to make this into a formidable laptop? Could the processor even be bottlenecked?

if ur not gaming get a new laptop with a ssd which has 8gb of ram and i5 processor

Nothing you'll do will make it "formidable". The SSD and extra RAM will help out, but you're never going to make it more than a low-end laptop meant for basic tasks.

I agree with Dulith on this one. Get a new laptop, that CPU is soo slow it's not worth it.

You could put in a SSD, but your CPU is incredibly slow, to the point where it wouldn't make much of a difference.

A SSd will make all the difference in the world.
You will be amazed at the difference in responsiveness.

As to ram, 4gb is ok, and if your os is a 32 bit os, that is all you can use anyway.

Ram is relatively cheap, so it can't hurt, but I think it may not be worth much to do that upgrade.
