Should i upgrade to 750w?

I just purchased a R9 290 and i also got a new 750w power supply, should i keep my 500w or use the 750w, my current setup is FX-4300,R9 290, CD player, 3 led light fans, 500GB 7200RPM HD,8GB DDR3 Ram, thanks

The 300W (TDP) R9-290 will need more than a 500W PSU; at least 650W for the average system. But it will depend on the make/model of your PSU. All 750 W PSUs are not created equal.
