I do not have a 144hz monitor, with the lowest settings in fortnite I get around 100 frames. If I do decide to purchase the 1660 ti I will also a purchase a 144hz monitor. Do you think it’s worth buying or not?

I have a samsung 60hz 1080p monitor, buying a monitor before the GPU is a great idea when thinking about it. If I do decide to purchase the monitor, should I purchase the 1660 or 1660ti IF I need it. Thanks for the informative reply.
I do have a budget unfortunately, monitor around $250-$300, do you think the Acer KG271A 27” 144hz is a good option for my budget? Depending on the performance, then I can decide if I need the GTX 1660. Also, I think the RTX 2070 will bottleneck my i5 6500.If I was in your place, I would first buy a IPS QHD 144 Hz monitor. They are expensive by the way. Then decide how to continue. If you have budget, think about RTX 2070. If not both are OK, if the difference is not much go with 1660Ti.
Thanks very much for the help, appreciate it.It is a good budget monitor. If you do not go QHD, you can continue with 1050 Ti. Please let us know your FPS after buying the monitor.
