Hi, so I have Sony Vaio VPCEB4JOE laptop. I'm just wondering if I should upgrade to ddr3l 4GB 1333MHz or 1600MHz? My laptop has built-in 3 GB (1 - 1 GB and 1 - 2 GB).

Solution
The fastest memory the cpu can take is 1066, so I would find some used memory that is either 1066 or 1333. 1600 may be too new and you might run into compatibility issues.

Also, as posted above, consider getting 2x 4GB modules as this will give a healthy 8GB that's needed for any modern bloated OS like win10.

Thanks alot for your reply and suggestion! This is very helpful for me. Will try upgrading it to 1333MHz 2x4GB and will also update later.

UPDATE: I have now upgraded to 2x4GB ddr3 1333 MHz and it was a success! Now when I click my start menu, it opens right away! Thank you everyone for the recommendations, appreciate you all!
