should i upgrade to i7 6700k from a 4790k?

i currently have an msi z97 gaming 5 motherboard with i7 4970k with 2x gtx970's and 12gb ddr3 . i just found a really good deal for msi z170a motherboard with the i7 6700k cpu with 16gb ddr4 ram? should i upgrade? ill there be a big jump in performamce?
 
Solution
No you won't notice any differance. The gain in processing preformance is 5-10% thats all. In games anything above ddr3 1600 doesnt show much gain so jumping to ddr4 isnt worth it either. It would be best to save up for the new 1080 coming out, processing wont be a bottleneck for you for quite along time.

Solution
The new platform will offer a little improvement in performance but it will open the door to being able to use DDR4 RAM (with a ceiling of 64GB compared to 32GB) and M.2 NVMe SSDs, so you can load programs and games much much faster. Whether that is enough to justify the expense is up to you. It may be best to do as the guys say and wait for the next generation.
