Question Should I upgrade to LG 27GL850-B from Asus MG278Q ?

I have an Asus MG278Q . It's kinda ok but I don't like the color production of it at the end it's a TN panel , a good TN panel but still has the limitations. Desktop usage is pleasant , I like the 144hz rate and fast panels but colors are bit washed out in games and movies . Blacks are not black enough , more like a dark grey. Also minor problem but Freesync sometimes causes flickers. I cant find information if GL850 supports Freesync 2 , doesn't it make difference ?

I see LG 27GL850-B has a new fast IPS panel and gets positive reviews but contrast rate doesnt look like it's an IPS panel.
. I don't have a chance to see and try it . Would an upgrade from Asus MG278Q to LG 27GL850-B make sense?
