I have a gt 1030, FX 8350 processor and my motherboard is an ASRock 970m Pro3, I already know that my motherboard is compatible with the gtx 1050 ti but I want to know if the upgrade from the gt 1030 to the gtx 1050 will still be reasonably good considering it will probably bottleneck my cpu

Solution
I used to have a 1050 Ti GPU in the past, and it was a nice card. However, I don't think that they manufacture that card anymore. I believe the only ones that you'll find are used on Ebay. That is why I'm asking what your budget is. Please keep in mind that new graphics cards are strongly rumored to be releasing in the next two months. The replacement for the 1050 Ti is the GTX 1650 Super. Important: Just like the 1050 Ti, the 1650 Super only has 4 GB of VRAM, which limits the future of this card. The next step up would be the 1660 Super. Also be aware that used 1050 Ti's on Ebay currently cost about $120, which isn't a good value. The 1650 Super is a better value at $160.

GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER WINDFORCE OC 4G...
I'm not going to lie, I honestly don't know how off the top of my head. The GTX 1050 Ti isnt' sold new anymore. What is your upgrade budget? Also, what is your power supply's mfg. and model number?
i really dont have a budget for the graphics card specifically, im not sure about the actual mfg/brand I just know that it is 600w

Yes you should upgrade. I had just upgraded from a gt 1030 too a gtx 1050ti and it was a very good upgrade.

The fx-8350 would bottleneck a bit, but as long as you don't go crazy on CPU-heavy titles then this would be an EXCELLENT budget-friendly upgrade.
I'd reccomend going with evga's or MSI's 1050 ti's though, since most are overclocked.
