and one more Question when will games be using quad core cpus

Well, that i3 is good enough to handle HD 6950, so there's exactly no need to upgrade.
So, my suggestion is to save up for Haswell, which is coming next year.

To answer your 2nd question, games do use quad/hex core CPUs. The correct question should be "When will games be able to take full-advantage of more than 2 cores?"
The Ans. God only knows.

If you are woried about the temp of the CPU then why not buy a after market cooler and keep the i3

Currently no need to upgrade for gaming, if you do other things or a lot of multitasking then the upgrade would make sense and you have a longer lasting computer.

Neither CPU you mention can overclock so the TX3 should be sufficient.

If you wait for Haswell you will have to change motherboards. If you go with an I5 now you can use your current board.

Hey there Skitz,
I believe Intel made a statement recently about the sockets a few days ago according to this:
http://www.maximumpc.com/article/news/intel_says_company_committed_sockets2012

So far it seems like they will keep going with the sockets, it may be in the distant future they may stop...but for now, Intel is still good to go.
