Should I upgrade

I currently have an Asus Radeon HD 7870 and I was thinking about upgrading to a GTX 970. Am I going to see a significant boost in performance? I'm going to be playing games like Far Cry 4 and Metal Gear Solid 5 when they release.

Other specs if relevant:
CPU - AMD FX8350
Mobo - AsRock Extreme 4 970
PSU - 550W OCZ

Yep you would, 7870~270X. And GTX 970 is comparable to 290X, its a great performance boost, from 40 FPS on ultra to 50 FPS on maxed out settings. Your build is fine to take the card w/o bottlenecks
