Should I use 4 pin or 8 pin power on my Striker Extreme MB

I am building my new PC with an Asus Striker Extreme Mobo and it will accept 4pin or 8pin power (atx power, next to the cpu).

My power supply (PCP&C Silencer 750) has both types of connectors (4 and 8 pin), is there an advantage to using one instead of the other? Should I use 4pin or 8pin?

Use 8 pin. 4 pin cannot supply as much current as the 8 pin, so never use the 4 pin if you have a choice.

It will run with either but I agree with Mondoman that if you have the 8 pin connector why not use it.
