i will be building my new pc after i have the full budget for it i already have a 500 gb wd blue 64mb cache hdd/case and a week ago i found a brand new(from 2004 but in the box) 400w psu and if i used it in my next ryzen build it will save me some money but it doesnt have a 6 pin or 8 pin connectors so should i use adabters from ebay to connect the cpu/gpu
i know its not right but i am short at the budget and ill replace it when i can

+all thanks to toms hardware community i got all my pc knowledge from those people who spend time from there day just to help other (master race) builders you guy are awesome

Solution
The first thing you shouldve learned is not to cheap out on the PSU, it is the single most important component of any PC build.

yeah old cpus where not just weak and make alot of heat but also it used alot of power and that make sense to find 400w psu in old dells/getaway pc's

Yeah I used to run 450's and 550's in my old machines.
