Should I use a SB X-Fi Fatal1ty sound card in the MSI Z97 Gamer 3 MB?

I'm getting a new PC next week and it's got the MSI Z97 Gamer 3 motherboard in it. The writeup about the audio on the MSI MB makes it seem like it's got a pretty good audio system. Now, in my older system I have a SoundBlaster X-Fi Fatal1ty Xtream Gamer sound card, and I was thinking of installing it on the MSI MB and disabling the MB's audio.

So here's my conundrum, originally the SB card claimed to increase system performance, but that was years ago. Do you think installing the SB card would better the performance of this MB?

Performance will be the same, but the SoundBlaster card may provide better sound.
