because I am having issues with my pc and I want to remove it to go back to better drivers

Yes. Follow the instructions though. Safe mode and unplug your ethernet cable until after you install the driver.

Personally, I'd recommend Control Panel to remove the drivers. I've never understood the need to use a third party program.
