should i use eco mode?

im planing to buy a GTX 1060 WINDFORCE OC
but i have a cheap chinese psu and i was wondering if having the gpu in eco mode would make it any safer by drawing less power etc.

If I'm correct, ECO mode just means your PSU fan will automatically turn off when PSU is below a certain temp.

Best option is to replace the PSU with one that can provide your 1060 with reliable and quality power.
