[SOLVED] Should I use old drivers for an old GPU?

I have an R5 240 1GB. Should I use crimson drivers or adrenaline drivers with the old GPU?

Depends on selected OS --- some are Crimson compatible, some are Adrenaline compatible.

Wow that was fast, K i'll check and it looks like I've already got them, just looking for the shader cache option on adrenaline

Latest version of Adrenaline, Shader Cache can only be "reset", they removed the enable/disable option.

So I will receive the best performance with the latest drivers no matter the card?
Also another question, I have an R5 240 which is apparently compatible with ReLive, I don't have the option.

Yes it's compatible with ReLive.

But it's an optional component in Crimson driver package, to access it for installation, please scroll down to "Installing and Enabling Radeon ReLive" on this page:

I've been struggling to use this, as in the log files for AMD relive, a common error happens, leaving me unable to record anything: CreateComponent AVC encoder failed Error:AMF_NOT_SUPPORTED

I just saw on the official AMD forum that the Radeon R5 240 does not support AMF, hence the error.
