Should I use SATA 6 port for a blu ray optical drive, or will sata 3 be ok?

I've got a ASUS p8p67-pro motherboard, and it has 2 sata 6 ports and the rest spare are sata 3. I have 2 ssd drives in the sata 6 ports (which are best left there).

My question is, will a blu ray optical drive be hindered at all by being connected to a sata 3 port, especially when i'm going to be playing 4k video though it on my 4k monitor. (in the future).

Wont matter, blu-ray will not exceed SATA 2 (3Gb's)

No current optical drive gets near the 3gbps of Sata 2, so you are fine.

Agree with Snipergod87 and boosted1g (SATA 2 is about 350MB/s)
