Question Should I wait for a 4070ti or buy 3080 now?

I currently have a 2060 super and Ryzen 5800x. My monitor is also a 1440p 240hz, and play a broad mix of games. I primarily focus on competitive esports games where I need the highest frames, but also enjoy a graphically intense story game where I can settle for lower frames.

if you do want the greatest and latest, i would prefer to hold your money in it. 4070/Ti would be a great card for most of your needs, if you find it at msrp or it cost not that far from the msrp.

get the 3080 right now on ebay for around 600 bucks or wait and pay more either way the result will be about the same. the 3080 is a heck of a card with more power than most people will honestly use
