Hello, In my country 1050ti's are very cheap compeared to a 1060 6gb. I can buy a 1050 ti and then buy a 2060 after 7-8 months. But what if the perfomance of the 2060 is just 25% some said it should be as good as a 1080 or betterthen 1070. And if the gtx 2060 is over 350-400$ I will be screwed So any sudgestions?

I'm pretty sure the RTX 1060 haven't even been announced yet they may not even be out until next year. If you can I would wait until at least the review of the RTX come out and they start shipping. At that point the prices for 1070/1080 should drop which should also cause a chain re-action causing the 1050/1060 to drop as well. Plus it may give a hint on the actual difference performance. From what I understand those reviews should be around 9/20 if they don't leak earlier.

My question to anyone in your position is this "Does the 1050 Ti do what you need it to do?".

If yes, and you can afford it, then buy it. Who cares about the GTX 2060, they aren't for sale.

If the answer is no, the 1050 Ti isn't powerful enough for you, then don't buy it.

Don't waste time worrying about cards that will be coming out in the future. There are always new cards coming out in the future, how long are you going to wait?
