Hi, I recently sold my MacBook Air and need a gaming laptop under 1inch and heard that both Intel and Nvdia are releasing new GPUs and CPUs. Will waiting for new processors worth it? Or should I purchase gaming laptop right now?

These are the laptops that I was thinking about: Dell 7577 and ASUS ROG GL503/GL502. I will be playing PUBG, LoL, SC1, SC2 also I'll be carrying this laptop for my college classes.

Isn’t the Volta coming out in late 2018/early 2019? As for processors, intel has already released their coffeelake (8th gen) processors that are definitely a step up from the Kaby Lake (7th gen) processors due to more cores being put into the processors. To be honest, I’d just get one now. Besides, pubg really only needs at least a gtx 1060 to play the game (you’d still have to turn down a few settings.)
