Should I wait for Kaby Lake for my new gaming PC?

I am building a new computer with 1080 gtx and I will buy a monitor 1440p 144hz. Should I wait for kaby lake to come out or should i just buy the 6700k? I heard it was just going to be power optimization and stuff like that so not much of a performance increase but I am not sure.

If you already have a computer, get the 1080 now and then build the new one after Kaby Lake will be released. However its probably not going to increase performance so much, so if you buy the i7 6700k now, you really cant go wrong with it.

Ok thank you also should I really buy the 1080 gtx now I heard it was going to be sold for around 600 but I'm only finding it for ~650 how long until cheaper models will be released? Also I should be able to run most games 1440p at least 120 fps with that build right?
