should I wait for rx 480 or go for 1060?

So I want to upgrade my GPU to rx 480 but in my country it's out of stock and there is no information when will be ready again.the reason I want rx 480 is what I know is that 480 better on dx12.

So should I wait for it?or just go for 1060

It's not better at DX12. Since Nvidia released a driver update a few months ago the 1060 6Gb sits with the 480/580 at DX12, it wins some and looses some. Only reason not to pick the 1060 is if you have a Freesync monitor.

Basically the RX 480 and GTX 1060 are on par with each other, one is better in some games and the other is better in some other games. The main factor you want to look at here is the price. Because of the miners buying all Radeon cards from the RX 470/480 and RX 570/580, you can hardly get those from any store and their used price is skyrocketing. The scenario is almost the same now with the GTX 1060. Since the radeon cards are barely available gamers are going with the 1060 instead, causing a shortage of the 1060s as well. I used to have a 1060 too, for 1080p, it won't disappoint you.
