Should I wait for the 7600k and z270 motherboard

Hello, I am about ready to start my new computer build and was wondering if I should go ahead and purchase the 6600k and z170 motherboard or just wait. There is really some good deals on motherboards right now so I was wondering if It was a good idea to buy now or just wait for the next genereation stuff.

Intel always has marginal performance increases, more so that this is the 3rd refinement of the 14nm process. If you're getting good deals on stuff, I would definitely go 6th gen there's not much wrong with it.

The resale value wont be good in a couple years if i decide to upgrade tho correct?

Actually, the 4th gen i5 and z97 motherboards are still up in price. Intel holds its resale value for a few years. Good 8 power phase Z motherboards, from what I notice, actually increase in value once they no longer make those boards. So I'd figure the same would be with 6th gen.
