Should I wait for the 8gb vram gtx 980?

Solution
The 4GB one should be enough, but if you aren't in a hurry, and have the money to buy the 8GB version, that would be one amazing of a investment, especially if you plan to 4K, unless the 8GB version comes for an abusive high price.

I still have a $1,000 left so I guess I will wait and see the price.

for 1080p go for 4GB , although it is just safer to have 8gb incase of 1440p /4k .Also if i am correct the PS4 and XB1 have 8gb VRAm(please confirm)

and developers develop games on the console, so it is hard to say how this will turn out(mostly the 8gh=b vram would be for 4k support on the PS4)

RESULT: if you have the money go for the 8gb , otherwise for 1080p 4gb is good enough

NOTE- many games have bloated requirements ,so you dont need 6gb for shadow of mordor etc..

hope this helps
