Should I wait for the R9 300 series or not?

Last year I built my computer with an R9 270. Should I wait to upgrade my R9 270 until the new 300 series comes out or should I just get this one R9 290 I'm looking at? I can get the 290 for $250 and I don't know if I should wait and spend a bit more on the new series.

why not wait ?? cant hurt and then you will really know on what you want to do then...

or you can buy today and latter sit there and think '' dang the AMD card rocks I wish I had waited '' and the cards that you want today will still be for sale if it don't

If you can't stand your graphics right now, you should upgrade now.

If you can wait for the new series to come out, which would probably be better since the R9 270 isn't that much worse than a R9 290, then you should.
