Should i wait for windows 10 or just get windows 7 now?

I'm building a gaming pc in the next month and idk if its worth waiting for or if i should just go ahead with windows 7 now.

Get Win8/8.1 and mod it to get rid of the ugly metro start screen and add start menu. When Win10 comes out you will get it free as an update if you are running Win8/8.1

Are there any features to windows 8 that helps with gaming?

No. If anything it should be better with a lighter memory footprint. Only thing about it that most people dislike is the metro interface and lack of start menu (which you can mod to your liking to be like Win7)

I would wait until 10 comes out just to see what the reviews say. Then you can make an informed decision on if it is good or not.

Windows 10 won't be a final release until well into next year.
