Should I wait for zen or buy i5 6600k.

I am planning to build a new PC .I will use PC for multitasking, heavy softwares, gaming and other regular activities. I finalized i5 6600k.and then read about Zen .it is offering promising specs at quite low price. But every source has mentioned it is a rumour.should I really wait or Just buy i5 6600k?

No one really knows. Will Zen be good I would say looks like it will be about even with what you have picked on the Intel side but there are not many 3rd party reliable Zen benchmarks yet so if you want something now and go ahead with intel you will be happy with what you get. Zen will most likely be just as good give or take a few %...

if you dont mind waiting, wait. prices will probably drop on everything and there will be new stuff out by then.
if you dont want to wait, then dont, get intel now.

waiting with computers is hard. there is always going to be something good to wait for. unless youre a month away from a big release, i would just buy the best you can afford at the time

Yea 6700 is not bad.but amd's zen is cheap and has 8 physical cores.

I hope Zen is a winner, but with AMD's track record, since core 2 caught them with their pants down, has been pretty bad.
