Hello,
Got this monitor about 2 months ago, and i was never actually hiding my task bar

Total Power On Time is 200hours atm,
I mainly gaming but its like 5 hours gaming and 2-3 hours in windows watching videos etc.....

I dont like when my task bar is hided, but i am really getting worried about burn in....

So should i hide my task bar or u guys think the pixel cleaning and image cleaning take care of that ?

Thanks for your advices
edit. this is how my task bar looks atm. View: https://imgur.com/a/jlvQYRO

Hide the damn task bar.

an OLED monitor is still an OLED ant it WILL burn in over time. When? How much? will it be visible? that is the subjective part. But the fact that it will burn in is a guarantee.

4 good practices to avoid it:

1. FULL black background. No icons, no nothing.
2. Hide taskbar.
3. Run pixel clearing when prompted or that same day later if currently impossible.
4. Do not run the monitor at 100% brightness (or at least not in the first 200 hours, but it may be a bit late for that).

If you run your monitor with different content however you are probably still fine. Just make sure you hide the taskbar and try not to leave your monitor with a static image if you walk away from the PC for longer than 10 minutes (this is also where 100% brightness is bad).

Co-signed. Ran into the same problem with my old LG B6 once upon a time. Minimize the taskbar, avoid leaving the display on when not around, and for the love of god, TURN DOWN THE OLED BACKLIGHT.
