I own an i7 6700K and an Asus Z170-A. The MB seems to stay at 28C under 100% CPU usage, while the i7 6700K has temperature fluctuations around 70-75C with an air cooler. Idle around 35C. I tested using Aida64 Extreme for 5 minutes. Also, i didn't overclock the CPU, it's at its stock clock speed of 4 Ghz. I don't know why, but it seems it isn't quite right if in idle state the CPU VID is fluctuating sometimes from 0.880 to 1.260 for like a second. What do you think guys?
Update: Just checked temps with RealTemp and i was a little shocked. Why is the CPU clocked at 4.2 Ghz? I never overclocked it.
