Should l buy a better mobo or a better cpu

So l want to upgrade my pc a bit, for gaming/youtubing, (my budget is around 350 Euros) and l wanted to buy an intel core i7 4770K and an MSI H87M-E33 for my mobo. But a good friend of mine told me that l should buy an intel core i5 4670K (if l'm not mistaken) with a better mobo like an MSI B75A-G43 Gaming and a descently good cooler so that l can OC the cpu (something that l would do with i7 as well). So what do you think l should do? Buy a perfect cpu and a cheap mobo or a cheaper cpu with a better mobo and a cooler?

My current specs:
cpu: Intel pentium G840 2.80 GHz
Ram: 10 Gigs
Graphics Card: Asus Nvidia GT630 2Gb
Psu: 530 Volt

Note: l am not planning on upgrading my pc again within the next 10 years. (unless something's not functioning well)

For gaming, there is no reason to get an i7 over an i5. Get a solid motherboard and an i5. However, i see you have a gt630 and i suggest upgrading that as it is likely the thing that will be holding back your system.

This will give you a big boost in performance as well as the ability to upgrade to an i5 later.

personally i'd take a z87 with an i5

also, please note that you will have a bottleneck with your gpu, 630 is not really for heavy gaming, a 650 is acceptable.

Thanks camohanna alot. l'll buy the sniper motherboard but l'm not so sure about i3. l wanna gradually upgrade my pc but l don't want to spend so much money on it. l will buy the i5, tho (because l'm a youtuber and l kinda want to render my vids fast, i3's dual core may not be that good for rendering), and after that l'll propably buy a gtx 660, but my question now is: will my psu hold all these?

What is your model of psu. a psu from xfx/corsair/seasonic/antec that is 500w will hold up but by the looks of the odd wattage (530) looks like it is a lower quality power supply hence my suggestion on a new psu. Yes that is a good idea, buy the i5-4570k + motherboard and skip the gpu. To be honest, the integrated graphics may outperform your current graphics card as i have seen the Hd 4600 run skyrim on medium settings @ 1080 quite admirably.

Well, I was wanting to look at the cpu support list, but Asus's website seems to be having issues. If your board supports it, it might make more sense to buy a 1230v2 or an i7 3770.
