I have a problem with instability on a system running an LGA 1150 socket CPU. I carefully removed the CPU to make an inspection and noticed (with strong magnifier) that the pins in the socket were all bent flat. It seems that they are flattened in a controlled way, but that is way to small to be sure without more magnification. Would that be normal when the CPU is installed for them to flatten as part of the installation to make connection?
Thnx.
