went ahead and did the windows updates and came up 20 mins laterand saw that my processor was at 40c. Seeing as it wasnt even done the updates and that it wasnt doing any creative
productions like it will be soon is this about the right temp?

Dont want it overheating when i get to the adobe/maya/rendering type products.

EDIT: Thought i'd add that my h100i in my gaming rig (same room) idles at 20-25c which is why it was worrying me.

Perfectly normal. Liquid cooling averages about 55-60c in stress testing, so 65c for a 212 EVO is just fine.

From other peoples experiences with the 5820K, they've gone up to 93c with the stock cooler during Prime95, and it ran fine then. While I wouldn't recommend that temperature, it's still within Intels thermal limit.

Will do :) once the updates are done ill go ahead and run it. How long should i be running this for?

do you recommend prime 95? or a different one.

It went to a max of 65c after an hour of stress testing it with prime. It stayed around 55c-60c most of the time

Just did the autotune from A-tuning thats included with my MOBA. It got 4.3 which im impressed. Is that safe/stable with everything else? Are the voltages or whatever else that it changed ok? Dont know much about ocing.
