[SOLVED] Should my friend buy the 1700x or the 2600x?

Hey guys. A friend of mine wants to upgrade his pc and get rid of the old fx 8320 and he is wondering if he should get the 1700x or the 2600x. He wants to overclock the cpu but he doesn't know if it's worth overclocking. Right now the 1700x is 40 euros cheaper than the 2600x and he wants to know if the 2600x worths the extra money. His gpu is gtx 1060. What do you recommend? Thanks in advance.
