I use windows 10 at home, and am looking to move into a tech support position in the next few months. Should I force myself to use the standard Windows 10 start menu and learn it's quirks?
Or have most companies stuck with the windows 7 interface?
There isnt anything to learn. Its basically the same as its been since windows xp. Just some of the icons are bigger (tiles) and its more customisable.
The changes are so minor I dont see how it would take anyone more than 30mins to get used to them.
when I say "learn it's quirks" I mean learning how to customize it, fix the most common problems, understand the reason for odd behaviors ... basically making it dance to your will.
