[SOLVED] Should there be any beeps if there isn’t a cpu installed?

I am testing a motherboard but currently don’t have a cpu for it, should there be any beeps without the cpu installed?

No beeps without a CPU. I assume that there is an internal speaker connected to the motherboard...

Not from what I know off no, I don’t have a compatible CPU for the board so I know you can’t do a boot check without it im always guessing you can’t get a display on a monitor without a CPU?

The board does not start without the CPU. For beeps, when CPU installed, you have to connect an internal speaker to the motherboard.
