I've tried a set of these ram (Corsair - Vengeance LPX 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-3000 Memory) in the below build, but they didn't work properly - sometimes the PC would start up, but most times it wouldn't at all. They've been RMA'd once, and the new identical pair received still have the same issue it seems.

Should the RAM be able to work with this build?

Well...but it should be able to downclock to 2133 according to:
http://www.corsair.com/en-us/vengeance-lpx-8gb-2x4gb-ddr4-dram-3000mhz-c15-memory-kit-black-cmk8gx4m2b3000c15
as is mentioned in the tech specs. You just have to go to bios and turn off xmp which seems to be turned on by default and so bios resetting isn't helping.
But personally if you're able to return that memory or exchange for a price difference, I'd get something else. 3000mhz rated memory that's run at 2133 is a bit o a waste.

Hi. The problem is the pc won't even start to BIOS. All the lights and fans start, but nothing shows on the monitor.

I have tried clearing it with the "switch" (small contact you move between 3 pins). Should it work better removing the battery?

We tested it with Crucial 16GB Kit (8GBx2) DDR4-2133 UDIMM and the PC worked fine with that pair, even when using just one of them. So it seems yeah, it works at 2133mhz.

I thought RAM were supposed to downclock its mhz if neccesary?

So it is possible that my motherboard just isn't compatible with my RAM?
