Shouldn't I have a bottleneck?

I have an amd fx 6300 paired with a gtx 980 ti. I know this is a combination where I should have a serious bottleneck with my cpu. I believe my motherboard is a gigabyte ga-78lmt usb3.

I have been monitoring cpu/gpu usage while playing ffxiv and I'm seeing 99% gpu usage at 2160p with the settings adjusted almost all the way up. Fps is 35-70 depending on my location and population density. My cpu is not seeing 100% load but I'm seeing 30-70% with a lot of fluctuation across all cores. Temps are stable and fine. (Gpu is reference and no cpu/gpu oc and I have a 212 Evo cooler on the cpu)

I can get about 30fps on the Witcher 3 in 2160p with high settings.

I'm wondering, I was planning on getting an i5 6600k soon to relieve the bottleneck. Should I bother?

Solution
yes any fx will give u a bottleneck the 6600k wont.
but you also need a new motherboard and enw ram for that.
and if you replace the motherboard theres a chance u need to purchase a windows lisence.

while youre at it check your powersupply too.
