Shrink tv display area

Hello. Just got a 49 inch sony x900e for my ps4. Problem is i sit at a desk and it is too big. How can i shrink the image? I want to make the dispay say 50% as big as current. Can i do this? Thank you.

Well, in Windows you can just go to display settings and reduce the resolution, then it uses less pixels, taking away from the edges. You could try reducing the resolution of the PS4?

Otherwise I'd try checking all of the display settings for the display itself, sorry not very helpful.
