Completely confused as to what happened. PC was working fine, shut down like usual at night. Next morning, woke up and pressed the power button and nothing happened. Asked roommates if there had been a power surge or anything (pc is plugged into a surge protector) and they said nothing happened.
After troubleshooting and believing it to be a fried motherboard, I switched out for a brand new one and still no resolution. Troubleshooting again by only connecting the 24pin to the mobo and the light comes on. So for whatever reason, no power at all comes through when all components are connected.
I've also tried plugging directly into to the wall without a surge protector in a different with no success.
Any ideas on what steps to take next?
