So, a few weeks ago my friend give me some software to download/check driver in my system called driver booster 2 and after i installing and scan/download driver that driver booster 2 said "outdated" i feel that sometimes when i want to shutdown my windows 8.1 it just the screen is black but my power button still on and power notification still on for 2-3 minutes.... so i think this is because this software installing some driver that maybe not compatible with my operating system

so what is the solution beside reinstaling all driver or reinstaling OS... do i need to look for another driver checker that have good reputation so it can fix my driver? if yes can you guys tell me what is it?

Try performing a system restore to a point before you installed this driver booster.
Personally, i hate these auto driver updater applications.
The best way is planned maintenance. Schedule a day every month to maintain your computer, and manually check for driver updates from vendor's website. That's the only fool-proof solution i've found from all these years of using Windows.

well i wish i could do system restore but i can't do that since when it start to happen i have some works to do and ignore it , so if i do system restore i will lose so many things

now i tried to remember what is installed and reinstall it on my own, and it;s getting better, shutdown time is back to normal but sometimes i will get long shutdown time...
