I got the siberia v2 (non usb) a month ago, the sound is great, however the mic not so much. I managed to fix it by doing small things like changing the mic boost and boosting the Hertz through my realtek hd audio manager. However, what im asking for is if there is a fix to the background noise im getting? I can hear there is a constant level of background noise when I check my voice by windows recorder or dxtory, where as for some reason when there are mic quality checks for the headset on youtube there is no background noise whatsoever.

Also, I moved my headset and mic jacks to the back instead of the front, as it said on my audio manager that the jacks at the back are analogue and the 2 (mic and headset) at the front are digital, it seems like it made a slight improvement, however I can still hear the background hiss or noise very loudly, but also audio especially audio coming from games is also a lot louder when using the audio jacks at the back of my pc.

the headset is great, probably im just getting bad background noise on my mic is probably because i am using onboard sound, siberia's mic and sound is great, just make sure you get the non usb and a decent sound card, make sure you dont get the usb version, i've heard bad reviews on it. im getting this sound card soon to basically upgrade it. http://www.newegg.com/global/uk/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16829132006

To bad they cost 125$ in my country.
What do you think about HyperX Cloud Gaming Headset? Are they better?
And g230 is like 25$ cheaper,do you think I should go with that one?

not too sure about the hyperx, you might need to look at a youtube video for that one, and i've seen reviews that the siberia is slightly better then the g230, but the g230s should be good enough, just try having a look at the hyperx, i have not heard too bad reviews about them

Actually I hear very good things about them. Please check and tell me your opinion about them.

Thank you bro you was very helpfull, and I appreciate that you made some time for me and answered on my question.
Also do you have usb siberia v2 headset? Because I heard that you can get like robot voice,or some noise,if you use usb version and that is always use normal 3.5mm if you have good motherboard with nice onboard sound card,or maybe special sound card. Thank you :)

I own the 3.5 mm jack siberia v2. There's been a lot of bad reviews on the USB one, so don't use it, even if your onboard sound is bad, because the non usb is still probably better, the only time onboard sound is bad is if you buy motherboards from about 6 years ago or from a not too big company, i recommend personally asus motherboards. Sound cards can be bought if you really need that extra quality, but its really not needed, as sound cards are usually more handy for speakers, not headsets. PS. don't worry about it, anytime.

Lol,it is like you read my mine. I think same as you about this and if I didn't wrote it in my last comment because I don't like explain things,I thought something like this, and if I need to explain it it would be exactly as you just said it.
Also do you think that gigabyte z97M d3h would have good enough on board sound card to power kingston hyperx cloud with no problems? Because they are 60oms headset, and for example you won't see their full potential with phone or older motherboard, but will this motherboard be able to do that?
Also did you fix siberia v2 background noise and how is the mic?

the motherboard you speak of would probably have a decent enough onboard sound. it uses the Realtek ALC892 chipset which is quite high quality for onboard, the chipset also uses 7.1 too, if need be. the headset (hyperx) has 53 mm drivers, which are also great and will boost the quality of sound, the headset i believe is only stereo however. i've also heard that the microphone is quite nice too. My siberia v2 was having some problems with static in the mic, i think this was due to putting it's quality up too far, as i was getting static when i was using 24bits 192khz. However, when i did use it, my actual voice quality was brilliant, which is a shame really, so i had to turn it down to 48khz, which removes most of the static, but makes my voice quality lower. I have sent the siberia's back about a week ago because of a squeaky joint, and im using some replacements right now, but as soon as a new pair of siberia's come back i can test a little more.
